Only 30 out right now, and there is this funny white stuff fallen' from the sky!!  Ain't supposed to snow in October!!!!!  If  this keeps up, there will be snow on the pasta at the October Fest in down town Reno this weekend.  High of only 45 today, but supposed to be back into the mid 70's by Tuesday.

     Survived the B day.  Lots a good food, family and friends.  Pard a mine is movin ta Colorado tamarra, and he made it by, which was nice.  Girls were here and stayed as late as thier ma would allow on a school night.

Russ T,  your right, that's just wrong 

it's 72 here with bright sunshine,  good thing too, I had a tail shaft break on a feed bin line, we had to take it all apart and run and get the part,  we got it all back together now, so all's good.

here's a picture of the shaft and the flex auger, it can turn all the corners with no center shaft to get in the way. the flex shaft is 40 feet long, so it can feed both feed lines.

this is the new piece I had to put on,  the part inside the auger flights is what broke, it ran up inside the auger and when it came to the top, everything stopped and it burned the belt off

Been in the work dept most the day today, got a new kid up their again, lets say he ain't the brightest I ever seen, had to spoon feed him on puttin' boots away, took him for tries to get them in sequencal order, I told him that's how they go, he'd a been better off to tell me he didn't know that word.   Boss asked how he was doin' told him Chad was dumb as a rock, Rob said to spoon feed him if needed, told him I'm gonna end up usin' a pitchfork.

Del, Thanks again for giving me a wonderful vacation that I truly needed. When my wife would call she said she could tell a difference in me that she hadn't felt in a long time. I know she's right. Next year can't get here fast enough for me. I really enjoyed meeting Terry and the rest of the employees. The food and the fellowship was great. I look forward to next year.
