     I'm still short a scatter gun   Lil had one that was 12 gauge on top and 4-10 on the bottom but it got sold long ago, and it wouldn't have been legal fer CAS anyway.

well we got all the birds on the ground about 11, they'd had a long trip, North Carolina,  first time we've got em from this company.  Prestage Farms Clinton, NC,  we finally found their right  temperature after a little searching, looks like they are settling down now.  they liked a little hotter temps than the average bird does, got it up to 105 degrees right under the stove, but they started getting up and moving around, eating and drinking  and that's the name of the game the first day,  they got to have a drink and a little food to get em going.

rain finally quit and the fog lifted,  the bird truck got lost coming up here this morning,   I tell everybody, ya got ta turn left at all them T's ya come to.

Del, that picture must be real,  looks just like TLD, me and Jackie had supper with him one time over to Fort Smith.  glad to hear y'all had a good time out to the Fort.

Arcey, That's what happens to you after 38 years of being a COP.  I told you I was an Ol' Cop. That light colored shirt and Light colored hat makes me look pale. I try and the Moose to take my picture in my dark shirt and black hat.  LR, I may have to get one of those new fangled horseless carriages.   Leo, I don't plan on pursuing both careers at the same time.  The Bank Robbery was a spare of the moment thing. My Marshal job in the Nations will keep me busy and out of trouble. I just needed a nest egg.

I had a nice 18th cent. weekend camp down in Kings Mountain NMP.  It was a mite chilly Friday night, but it got warmer as the weekend progressed.  I would have rather it stayed on the cooler side, although I realized that the blankets I had were fine for that temp, but need more for colder.  I think I need to hit the stores before the next event Veterans Day.

well the birds are all put to bed,  they settled down real good and got em a belly full of feed, they should sleep fine till morning.  glad today's over, usually gets easier the second day.
