Been down checking birds, 49 here this morning with a stiff North wind, supposed to make it up to the mid 60's for a high today. callin for about 38 in the morning. gonna have ta dig out some coats if it keeps that up.

Nice weather here this morning, so the straw boss and I have been working on the "Cave". Been going slow in progress but I/we've had no major diasters and all mistakes are caught before it's to late. Till today. Ouch Ouch Ouch I was hanging "hurricane straps", for the roof joist this morning. Using the reccommended "Teak" nail. ....OUCH that 23 oz framer with fresh waffels hurts.....not only once but twice on same finger.>moumentem< I Couldn't get my brain to stop the second blow, now it's bleeding!Ouch!
I figger I'm 5 weeks behind now I wanted to be wiring and insulated by now. Work seems to get in the way of my pleasures..then I know I couldn't afford the pleasures without the work....Damn Catch 22.

That's what I've been hearing also... My ISP says high of 83 today. I'll be mostly indoors when (if) it gets there.

Good afternoon folks. It's been a right busy day. Sadly my overtime just disappeared as the boss forgot to tell the guy I was covering for he could have the day off. Since he did not hear the time was granted he cancelled his appointment and will be here in 30.

Oh weill. I guess I'll go and fix my mom's computer.

Actually it's not a fix. Here Norton is expired today and I'm installing AVG for her.

That's what I did on mine. AVG immediately found two trojan horses that Norton couldn't. No telling how long they were on there, but my computer sure sped up after that. Good move, Stoney.

Oh, yeah. Be sure to delete all Norton files afterward because I kept finding viruses and such in there until I finally got rid of them. I guess some of these things are written specifically to attach to Norton files so they can't be found.

Boy, them winter foods are great

Hear's a tip if yer makin chicken soup. Boil the bones fer a full 24 hours ta make yer stock. It works all the marrow out an I'm tellin ya, it's the best yardbird soup you'll ever have. Ya can freeze it an since it's just stock, it can be worked inta other recipes.

My confuser still has it's but hanging out in the wind. I been using Windows Defender (free) and run spybot and registry fix now an then. No problems fer over a year. Machine likes ta tell me I'm unprotected at start up, but I feel secure. I don't open no spam email so that prolly helps too. Do they really think they're foolin anyone when the subject says "you've inherited a million dollars" and the senders name is some barister from South Africa or even just an incoherrant jumble of letters. Even funnier is when the subject is "my full breasts are pouting for you" and the sender is a guy's name. I'm sure there are folks that open this garbage, but I guess they get what they deserve.
