Howdy All
I know this is not exactly Western but I wanted to share it with you all.
This box is not done but very close. It is being done by one of my students. She has been working on it here at the shop
because it is too big for her to work at home. She started in late March.
I am extremely proud of what she has done.

Thank you for the kind words.
No I don't think I'll be moving up there. I don't have a problem traveling to do a class if you can get enough people together.
I am hoping to move to Iowa someday when I retire.

Thank you for the kind words about my student and myself.
I have posted more pix of the box with the outside finished. She is now designing the carving pattern for
the inside of the lid. The rest of the insides will be lined in Pig Suede.

A case for what?  Man, that's bigger than some of the apartments I've lived in.

Beautiful work on both of those projects.

WOW! I'll say it backwards. WOW! I'm sure they are (rightly) proud of their work. WC, you are a heck of an instructor. Let me second Knucklehead's thought, you need a "vacation" to Oregon brother!

Thanks for sharing this inspiring work, JD
