Hi Everybody

Here are a few final details.

Since the parts of the Grand Muster that will be held in the barracks is in a state park here is a list of the pertinent rules: No hobnail or heel plates If your shoes  have them bring something else to wear while you're in the building. Don't bring any fire wood. If we need wood it will be provided. No Alcoholic beverages are allowed on Nebraska Game and Parks land. No smoking in any of the buildings.
A Nebraska Park entry permit is need on your vehicle. This is included in the price of your Muster registration, but I need to know ASAP when you plan to arrive and if you plan to stay for all 3 days. If you're from Nebraska and already have a permit please let me know that as well. Please email me with the information.
All meals are included in the registration fee.
If you have any special needs please be sure to let me know so that we can plan for them ahead of time.
You will need to provide your own bedding and table service.
There is a modern rest room a short distance from the barracks and there is no electricity in the barracks so it might be a good idea to bring a flashlight.
You won't need a gun cart, but if you really want to bring it AND you don't mind sharing it  to serve as a rifle rack, you may bring it.
I just checked the 10 forecast and it's saying highs around 70 and lows in the upper 40's to low 50's with the possibility of a few showers on Saturday so bring appropriate clothes- we can't post pone the shoot if the weather isn't perfect!
If you are late on Friday and still want to shoot some of the side matches we will TRY to accommodate you.
IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS THAT YOU DON'T SEE THE ANSWER TO HERE, POST IT BELOW AND I'LL ANSWER IT FOR EVERYONE

In lieu of a flashlight will either oil lantern or candle in a dish-type candle stand be permitted?

The state is pretty touch about fires in the building (including little fires like cigarrettes and birthday cake candles) so the candle is out. The latern might be alright but I'm going to err on the side of caution and say that we need to use a flashlight.  :-\

I seem to remember a company making a modern battery powered latern with one of those flickering looking lights.

My dad, drilled out five old oil lanterns and bought a kit that fit into them for AC and battery power options.  The kits were made for standard lightbulbs

They looked awesome in our stairway leading down to the basement which was made to look like you were going down into a coal shaft.

Col. Pitsptr,  Brother Bob and I plan to arrive sometime Thursday PM so will need a sticker for the car then. Will we be able to move right into the barracks at that time? Looking forward to a bang-up (pun intended) time in Nebrasky next week. Weather sounds wonderful. Just hope the night sky is as brilliant as at Garnett, KS in October.

TX Sgt. We won't be doing a shoot through on Thurs., we shouldn't need one. About all that's going on Thurs is some final range clean up. You're still welcome to come Weds. evening if you want, but there's no need if you don't.
