Fort Hartsuff soldier goes missing from Del & Oscars grub

I am truly heart broken. I know this thread doesn't have a recipe in it but it does concern people and food. I was so hoping to meet silver creek slim. I just read that he can't make it. Heck! last time Del and I cooked we were congering up a disaster meal we could show silver there, that could have had Velveeta in it. i hear he about kills if any of that processed food product get within 10 foot of the ol boy. HA  LOL
Any way i sure will miss meeting you and look forward to the time I can. Del speaks rather high of you and that is saying alot.
i have lived in Nebraska, love this state and have seen many places here, but have never been to Fort Hartsuff little alone slept in the barracks and cooked for a bunch o folks. This should be on heck of and experiance. Lookin forward to meeting some that post here.
