sighning in thanks too flints for mesage i have two spencers one an original berncide carbine the other a armi sports 44 rusian that i got when they first came out i have replaced the barell with a heavy target barell so it is beter balanced for ofhand shooting and replaced the sights with mid range vernia tang sight and a combernation beach front the bead is set for 50 meters and post filed to hit dead on at 100 meters it soots one harf inch groups at 100meters and i am wating on a new 56 50 rifle to shoot pigs and dear and use in black pouder cartrige events  thanks herbert

How are you getting the new 56-50?  From which dealer/importer?

yes i have seen the movie i licked it my burncide spencer was used by my great great granfather late 1860 till he diead in 1872 he was mounted police sargent in the newengland goldfild distric nsw have photoes but will have to get somone to post them who knows howe ps does anyone know why armi sports 56 50 rifle twisi is 1 in 508 mm in my caculations it is way too fast

 ???sory forgot to say wear i am geting new spencer i am geting it of nia trading ph 0736219999 for anyone else in australia they are holsalers so you have to go through your local dealer the rifles wont be in till december but i think thay have carbins in stock but not sure

i was reading my post and realised i made a mistack on the group size for 44 rusian it shoud have read one&harf not one harf although i  have got quite a few 3 shot groups in harf inch i dont conceder anything less than five shots to be a good indicater my rifle seems to shoot any number into one& harf using .95cc trail boss and lee 90341 mould lubed with lee licwood alax but the barell is a heavy tobler target barell it also shoot nealy as good whith lyman .429667 mould sized to 429 & lubed with lee stick lube
