I seen this question asked on TFS...

Our club shoots on Sunday, but I have always prefered Saturday. I like to take my family to church and have a family day.

Oh well, I've been coming to the point where I may not be shooting at my home club as much because of this...there are other clubs around who do shoot on Saturday.

Saturday, for the same reason you gave. Sunday is for church and family. My club shoots on Saturday.

It don't matter to me.  Somebody pick a day and stick to it and I'll get my work schedule made to fit.  Just don't be jumping back and forth.   :)

Howdy Michael,

Glad ya caught this post.  As in past years, I will be bringing this to the table again for vote.  I was just getting a feel of what most folks want.  I know I could bring in many folks into the game, but they are involved in church or like activities on Sundays.  This is becoming more and more difficult for me to attend on Sundays as well.

So you know, it will cost me more money to take Friday and Saturday off than to take Saturday and Sunday off.
I was also hoping to catch one of those Missoula shoots and then ours some weekend.
But whatever, maybe someone will start a club in the Great Falls area!  That's one way of getting more shooters to the match.

LSFSC shoots on both Saturday and Sunday in order to accomodate those folks that wanna go to church on Sunday and those that hafta work Saturdays.  Some come out both days.  Nice arrangement, difficult to get consistent stage interpretations, but...  It's all work to have fun anyway.

Either one, but I usually work my parttime job on Saturdays.
So I voted for Sundays.

Sunday is the Lord's day. Our club shoots on Saturday and always have from day one. We tried adding a 5th Sunday shoot for those folks that said, "I have to work Saturdays. If you shot on Sunday I'd come shoot." Guess what? Those folks never showed up. But now that we have our own range the club is thinking about adding a Sunday afternoon shoot. We'll see how it works out.

My home club shoots on Saturdays, used to be Sundays. When I was working, I used to do many six and seven day weeks. When it was a more or less steady six, I couldn't make my own club's shoots, so went to any Sunday shoot I could find close. Now that I'm retired, I just shot a match today, that's right, the middle of the week! :o there were 32 of us today, mostly retired folks, but some that have crazy schedules as well. That's why I voted any time........Buck 8) ::) ;)
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

I prefer to shoot both days but that wasn't an option on the poll.
