Looks like other folks than me know about honey and allergies.

The place I used to buy my honey is now under about 300 new houses and I can't find him nor anyone else nearrby who have bees...........................

Damn!!!

Dumbdumbdumbdumb!!!  Raahauge's has bees all over the place.  They even put up signs so folks going there to shoot put their windows up.

Didn't anyone ever go to the old EOT and remember to remind  me?

Yep. I've been told about using local honey for allergies, too. I have a honey farm 7 miles from my house, but haven't gone there. I need to get some honey and beeswax for boolit lube. No, I don't use honey for boolit lube.  ::)

Those are early and long days, Litl Rooster! Glad to hear Pea Eye is fiesty and responsive to you and it's going ok.

What a great way to watch Gettysburg, cousin Slim! Though I've seen Gods and Generals, I have yet to see Gettysburg.

I pretty much spent the day in bed yesterday and did some reading. But I think I've got the flu beaten back enough to go back to verk today.

Folks in grocery stores have asked me: Why are you insisting on local honey? Local honey is made from the pollen of local plants, many of which contain allergins to me. By using local honey, I build up my immune system to those allergins. It's old folklore, but it works, at least for me!

Feeling some better so the coffee is hot and fresh,

:D

Thanks fer the coffee, Cuz.

Gettysburg is a must see. I can't get through it without tears.  :'(

Morning, Litl Rooster!

Aye, remnants of Cindy traveled through here last night brining much needed rain, but we got so much of it, most of it probably just ran off.

Meanwhile, I still have the remnants of my bug. Got a nasty cough going now. I can't shoot like this, it isn't safe.

I'd go easy with Del's coffee - 'member what it did to him :-\.  We finally had near a inch a rain Friday, after 35 days with nary a drop - seen 102 on the old 'mometer a couple a days.  Was gettin' a mite dry - horny toads an prickly pears was even startin' to shrivel up.

Joyce (AnnieLee)

Morning, folks! Thanks for the coffee, Litl Rooster!

We got about 3" of rain from Cindy. My corn needs more, though, and some fertilizer. But the tomatoes look great and my son has plenty of hot peppers!

Keeping an eye on Dennis now as my brother lives in Mobile, and I am wondering why my darling niece who lives in southern Florida decided to get married in the middle of hurricane season.

Didn't trust myself to shoot so we went berry picking again. I think I have enough berries for my jam/jelly making for the year! :D

So, my contribution for breakfast is fresh sliced peaches and cream!

Okay, here's one I haven't seen before: can I grind the corners off of a cast iron bacon press?  It doesn't quite fit my small skillet, but a half inch radius on each corner would cure the problem.

What say you all?

I'd get a bigger skillet. While we were out and about on Saturday, we stopped at the place where I got Elle. The guy must have hundreds of skillets in there, so if you need one of a particular size, I should be able to get one for ya.

AnnieLee, though the grinding probably won't hurt anything...
