Dang. I am tempted to change my alias. I probably won't, because people associate Hojo with pancakes. But... Ama Shogun does have a ring to it, doesn't it??

This restaurant serves the best schnitzel in the county. Highly
recommend the apple streudel for desert. The charm is old world
and the service is outstanding.

The ambiance is festive, with German treats such as the Sauerkraut and Pork Festival, which includes music, food, cooking contests, folk dancing and children's activities. Then there is the Oktoberfest, from mid-September through October, with German food, beer drinking, and yodeling contests. Sunday is family day with no charge for 12 and under.

Old World Village also has a Rathskellar.

...heyyyy, take the kids on Sunday and get them drunk for free!  Maybe when the servers aren't looking, you can sip on their beers!

The deli has three tables with two chairs each, and a menu that's mostly American.  The meat and cheese counter is good for shopping for your own kitchen, and they have a few condiments and such, but I won't bother eating there.

I been going about this all wrong, and having my head in a dank, dark, stinky place doesn't help.

My partner for the last 10 1/2 years that I was in business is a GERMAN lady who knows every German eating place for 100 miles.

Did I remember?  NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

I'll call her Monday and get some good ideas.
