Coffee and grub

Annie I can run that trailer up yer lane no trouble, Mr. Fegason as I called him when Grandpa bought him when I was 3 (1949 Fergason TE 20 fer ya tractor lovers ) has balls............... on both ends.  Yes the ball on the front bumper is another gift, but this one was built by my dad.

If I start yer way and run full out I can run 'bout 9 mph in 4th gear.  How long will that take with gas stops, potty breaks and naps and meals.  Course brother can run 75 mph with it on the trailer.  Mr. Fergason like the wind blowin' though his grill at 75 mph.  Course one time we hauled a Big Wheel tied down with boomer chains on this 20 ft trailer with 12 ton plates.  Little brother is as crazy as me.

I have a lot of catching up to do here. I've not been around since Friday.

Well, Standard Pistol Regionals are over. I didn't do much training on this modality 
(I've concentrated my efforts in Centerfire Pistol). But apparently no one else did either  so I ended up in 6th place .

Now the bad news. I took my model 14 to check the trigger weight...And it didn't make the 3 pound minimum  So, today I'm taking off early to have a gunsmith look it up (it will need a stronger spring in the rebound slide). hopefully it will be allright for the match next Sunday.

WOW! Ya'll have been chatty this weekend. I cooked brats and baked beans o'er the fire on Saturday for our noon picnic. Invited my father-in-law over for it. I spend too much time talking at the picnic table 'cause I sunburnt my arms. I loaded .45-70 BP loads for my Marlin 1895. Did some rapid fire testing with it. I will take the digital camera home tonight to take a pic of the target and post it tomorrow.
