You see what I'm doing with my day off.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Not much I'd like to be doing outside anyway, cold and drizzly as it is.  I guess, though, that it is still much warmer than out west yonder.  I keep trying to watch this "new" spaghetti western that I got with Lee Van Cleef but I fall asleep every time.  This has happend several times already!    ...and I call myself a fan.  Shame on me!!!

That reminds me... I went to Columbia House to order the Trinity DVDs and they don't carry them!! Rasa frasa and they call themselves a DVD sales place? What are they, COMMUNISTS?!* I'd cancel my membership right now, if I didn't have to order another 4 DVDs to fulfill my obligation to them. Grrr.

AnnieLee

*PC disclaimer: Ok, they probably aren't Commies, but it felt good to call them that. Just a touch of recidivism there.

I know what you are talking about with Columbia House.  I joined them when I first got my DVD player with the grand hopes of buildng a great westerd DVD collection.  Nope!  Actually, I do think they are commies because proudly displayed on the first page of their website is usually one of Michael Moore's movies!!!  Now, I am so glad for free speech in this country, but this guy drives me nuts! (As I know he wants to, so I usually shy away from people ranting like I am right now  ;D )

Four-Eyed Buck

Hey Annie! I cleaned my monitor and I'm ready for some more of those orchids now. I know I'm allergic to Easter Lillys, don't know about orchids, but at least cyber ones won't kick it up......Buck 8) ::) ;)
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Joyce (AnnieLee)

I'll try to coax more of them to bloom, Buck. Most of the time, they are just weedy things that suck up space, water and fertilizer. But when they bloom...

<Happy sigh>

Afternoon Slim, did ya get yer windows back in yer pickup?  Don't worry the beard will grow back. ;D

Make sure you don't have any holes in yer fire wall, ya know what happens to a Dee-sall en-gy-anne if methane, propane, butane or other similar gasses find their way to the intake? :o :o :o :o :o

One of the great things about having CAS-City and TFS is I get to hug my cousin twice!

< Hugs him, laughing>

And when you show up on the Newbrassky thread, the Frumpy Fairy Godmother will get her hug.

Most welcome, Slim.

Well, the Frumpy Fairy Godmother made her greeting. I'm not sure if I wrote that or if one of the screenwriters from "Support Your Local Sheriff" was passing through my body.

Well, I was looking for "My Name is Trinity," "Trinity is Still My Name," and "My Name is Nobody," :D when "Boot Hill" showed up. The comments on the DVDs take big notice of the quality depending on who made the conversion. It sounds like someone made bootleg copies off a VHS that had been used a bazillion times.

I dunno what ones are the best.

To be honest, I don't think there is a truly "good" copy out there.  I don't know who owns the masters but whoever it is doesn't seem to be interested in cleaning them up.  I used to frequent a Spaghetti Western board.  I might have to go and ask this question to see if we get an answer.  ...Now to find that address.

Anyway, because of my past experience with the movie, I just bit the bullet and found the cheapest movie and bought it.  I wasn't disappointed because as I may have said before, the quality was no worse than I had ever seen.

Now... you mentioned Boot Hill... I've got that one too and it looks like a tape that has been copied a bazillion times... squared!  And the soundtrack?  ...Cubed!  It is truly awful.  Good for a laugh, though.

My name is nobody.  Now there is a pretty good movie.  I am excited because it has previously been unavailable on DVD.  After reading your post, I checked on it at Amazon and there it was! ;D  I had been waiting for its release, but from a the original releasing studio, which this is not.  Every time I've ever seen this one it has been pretty clean which means if I get a lousy DVD, I'd be mighty unhappy. :(

Okie, so I'll get all three Trinity's from Amazon, view My name is Nobody, then mail it off to you. If you like it, buy one and ship it back to me!

;D ;DThankee for your offer!  I do appreciate it!  Now, don't forget that my offer for "Trinity is Still My Name" still stands as well.  Heck, for that matter I can send you all my Trinity copies before you buy so that you can see what kind of quality you are getting.  (You can also see by the screen shots that I put in back when we were talking about bathing/cleanliness ;D)
