My rolling pin is a hunk of scrap from the now defunkt Hatfield Rifle Company of St. Joe.  It is AAA grade tiger stripe sugar maple.  Might have to get GG to do a picture of it alone some time.  Had a friend who used to work there and he got 2 really nice pieces of that.  His he made into a tomahalk handle for his "Sunday going to Meeting" tomahawk.  

It is stained with home made alkanet root stain, then stained with some golden oak spirit stain and then just lightly with some Fleiberlings med brown leather dye.  There was enough linseed oil hand rubbed in to completly fill the pores.  It is then only wiped with a rag with a little bit of lard on it when done rolling.  But nothing sticks to it.

Today there's coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice. If you want something more, it's best you get it yourselves, you don't want my germs.
