I've hired some people to take care of the lawn.

They are not nice people.

They are relatives on my mother's side of the family.

They are from Sicily and northern Italy.

They have no gene for conscience, none for mercy, and none for kindness.

They have a very active gene for family loyalty and duty to the family.

Other than that they are fairly likeable.

Visit...you may enjoy the company.

Then again, maybe not.

Morning, folks! The coffee is hot and Scattered Thumbs is fresh!   

Just got back from a quick "walk around." Looks like I lost an apple and a peach tree, but everything else made it through the winter. (I still have pairs of apples and peaches, so the loss won't hurt me)Even most of my grapes are coming back and I didn't expect them to.

Life is good back here in the woods, so that means it must be time to head for verk!
