Coffee and grub

Chocolate with a peanut butter center. The peanut butter is exposed on one end and makes it look like a buckeye.....Buck( with four eyes)

For those who would refer to me as "Mom":

Mom has her boots off (the boots are great, but after 12 hours inside them, most of them standing, the legs and feet get tired), and the fuzzy lambswool slippers on. A footrub would be wonderful and she'd compensate highly for one. She has no idea of what is for supper, but she is hungry. However, she knows better than to make a meal out of Buck's buckeyes, even though she'd like to munch a few.

And the fridge is empty.

Grrrr.

Uh, oh! Were the doggies bad again? I'm a little far away for a foot rub. i've been known to do Susie's at times. Sometimes her shoes give her foot cramps, simple dress flats yet. She's had surgery on them for spurs........Buck

I learned my lesson long ago, when my sister threw my sneakers out on the front yard.
Pantyhose or nylons=stink foot
No socks= stink foot
White socks= no stink foot.

I wore thick white socks today.

So there.

I want to know WHO in the world decided that microfiber (formerly known as polyester) would make a good fiber with which to make men's dress socks!!!!!!

I just got the kitchen cleaned up, Rita was cleaning today and had car trouble, so she made me cook. She had two 2.5 pound rib-eye roasts thawed she made me cook for her. She is really mean to me.

We were at the store Thursday and she had the bank card, I wanted fish, she won't let me have any. And it was nice fish really fresh <gol-lum> I could tell by lookin' in the eyes, she don't like fish with eyes, even with wild rice and lemon wedges.

I love fish! It can stare back at me, but I'm not going to eat the eyes or anything else in the head.

My late Grandmother used to eat the entire fish, including the bones. ...I think she might have even eaten the heads of some fish. I don't remember.

Fergot, I got back from my trip to my daughers graduation a while a go. Decided I wanted to drive sumthin' besides Interstate, but we had to get back to Lincoln. (Wanted to take off north inta the Sandhills fer a few hours, but my wife had places to be.

Within 30 or so miles from the edge.)

Well I run from Shelton to Grand Island on US-30 (Lincoln Highway the first trans-Continental High-way) and the UP line that were first laid in 1867 were to my left. (Didn't see none of Forty-Rods relatives with their hand carts, we were on their trail also, plus the one the telly-graph took)

In front on the almost arrow straight road cars were goin' over the horizon in front and they were comin' over the horizon behind, 5-6 miles away. The Platte river was 3-4 miles south and the Oregon/California Trail had just come up to the Platte just south there.

Just hated to come home, my kind of country.

Just like a upside down bowl above and could see a lot of territory.

I know Annie is still shudderin' about flat open country, did some quick math and if my memory and figures are right in many places you can stand and turn around and see about a 150 square miles with out movin'.

This is the town my daughters school is in. The large frarm building complex just NE of the town is her school. The straight line in the middle is US-30 and the UP main-line that was originally built in 1867 and connected to the CP in Utah in 1869.
