Man...what a good time...French jack had close to 30 shooters show up and almost as many spectators. The Johnson County Rangers supplied the food and drink during our lunch break...what a treat, great hospitality.

Rowdy, Texas Jack, & Duke Henry had a nice contingent from western Kentucky, and Indiana had a great showing too. Jed Cooper, Will Money, Will Money's son (sorry I can't remember his name), John Morgan, Steel Horse Bailey (who slept all the way home)  & yours truly, OCB made the trip from the Indy area...

Those of you that didn't make it sure missed a good time and should be kicking yourself......

The weather was beautiful, the stages were great...pistol and rifle targets set way back, especially that little four inch green camouflaged diamond at about 40 yards, really tested your skills...and I learned that a .45 long colt cartridge will not chamber in a 44/40 1866 yellow boy carbine ;D.!

Anyone interested in possibly doing this again before the JCR last shoot of the year, let me know.

Maybe we can do this car pooling thing on a regular basis...

Hope to see you all at our shoot (SMVS) shoot next Saturday.

French Jack

We were glad to have all of you show up and give it a whirl.  Silver is still grinning.  Hope you all enjoyed it and "ya'll come back, ya'll hear?" ;D

Real good time. Dodge Boy is still grinning after knocking down the five plates on the pistol rack. Glad dinner got there. Deadeye Dave was about to get down from hunger. He recovered real quick after the ham sandwiches.
OCB, I know about that 45 colt in a 44/40. Works good in the magazine, but just will not chamber. TJ ;D
