:o  Well I got my shootin' irons yesterday, already had the leather so of course I could not wait to get started. Since I had the day off, today was the day. After 20 years of no leatherwork I can now truly say that it ain't like ridin' a bicycle. Man, am I rusty. but after 10 hours of trying to get my hands to do what my head knows how I am pretty happy with my progress. I now have two holsters a clylinder pouch and a belt cut out and the pattern cut.  And believe it or not cutting thr pattern was a bear.... a big BIG BEAR. BUt I finally got it done. Will start tomorrow on the stamping. Wish me luck and think happy thoughts. I will drop some pics as soon as I am finished for your expert eyes to peruse. :-\

             Thanks, Gun Butcher

That'll be great when you're finished. I think making the patterns is the hardest part, anyway. I usually make one several times before I like it. Even then, I still make some adjustments after the first item off that pattern. Lookin' forward to seeing the finished product.

Thanks Marshall Will, I been grinnin' like a kid at christmas time all day. The wife said she would have insisted that I get back into leatherwork years ago if she had known what a difference it would make in my disposition.  GB

Glad your having fun again Gun Butcher.  It is neat to see what you can make.  Keep the wife happy and do more leather work.
