I am looking for a pattern for a set of buffalo soldier saddle bags. Can anyone help?

Check with David Carrico at Carrico leather.  He has copies of the 1885 Ordnance Manual which has the specs in it.

Ordanance Memoranda 18 has the spec drawings for the 1874 saddle bags. what years are you looking for.

Buffalo Soldiers were from 1865 to 1900 (mostly Indian wars). They used and were issued the same equipment as the other regiments.
