Howdy All
I bought this Lone Ranger Cap Gun rig in an Antique Store while I was in Iowa on vacation.
I'm going to reproduce it in leather when I get a chance.
Thought you'd like to see it.

Ya for me too. when I saw it in my friends antique store I just had to have it. I never even looked to see
if the guns even worked. They do and are perfect, what a plus..... And I got it dirt cheap.

Ace,
it's an adapter to suit your 3d stamp handle for use like the Hefty handle.
This way, you don't need to use all your muscle to remove the handle from the socket in the stamp as they can get very, very stuck if used normally.

Hope this helps.

WOW... that vintage 50's nostalgia can bring big $$$ with colectors  ;D

you did great...

I remember, I had a Paladin single rig, It was high quality black leather. The Gun had real wood grips too.
It was pricey for the times , I think about $20 for the set in the mid 1950's came with a wallet & Have Gun Will Travel Business cards...

For a Toy gun set it was certainly better than the entry level Oklahoma Leather & Hunter made stuff sold today.

when planets align...do the deal !

What a fun project, WC. That would really look great in leather. Would you copy all the furniture, too? I must say that does bring back some memories although my rig back then was a Gene Autry one with the fringed gloves and such.

CapGun Kid makes some cool rigs for some of his capguns. I had an idea to make some holster/belts for some of the miniture guns I have...I still would like to do it, just don't know if my hands can stand up to it, but it would be really cool. I have one miniture about 5" long, and another only 3" or so....

I would loved to have gotten my hands on some of those real minatures, the ones that were going for as much as a real gun or more...

Well, I can dream..

brought back memories, I still remember the smell of the leather on the Mattell Fanner Fifty rig and the Paladin rig...
