Thank you for the kind words.

No I took someone else's pattern and re-worked it to try and make it fit. It needed a little more at the top
& bottom. Too much background area, didn't match the rest of the pattern. But that's what happens when
you can't draw.......

WC,
That is AWESOME that is going to look mind blowing on that persins bike! I had a guy come buy to look at my Harley, and you had to threw the leather shop to get to where the bike is, and he ask me why i didn't have cool looking leather stuff made for it, and I said to him because I can't draw!
I don't care if you say you can't draw or not, it is awesome!! Great jon!!

Thank you.
This saddle doesn't have a horse yet. It's just to hang on the wall for customers to see. All the other seats
I've done none of the pix came out.

Very nice, WC. I really like the pattern the way it flows from each of the smaller patterns within it to the next. Your eye really moves around it. Good job. It makes me want to tool up one for my bike. Be sure to post completed pics for us. That will look good in just about any color you put on it. It should be a real dazzler.

How about making a tank strap to match it? You may really catch the eye of some guy looking for something really special. Every paint shop I go into usually has a full set of sheet metal in a theme that is hanging on the wall as an example and that's available for someone who really can't wait to have something cool on his bike. Lessee, I have an FXLR that has a tank strap on it...... ;D

Ace, aside from making smart a$$ remarks, I am currently making a hat band for my Boss of the Plains. Bought some distressed brass spots and a half-price stamp at Tandy.
The only thing I'm struggling with is how to connect the two ends together. Buckle? latigo? Big concho? I just can't decide.

Anyone here make a hat band yet?

I've made several hat bands, I  prefer to tie them, instead of putting on a buckle, I make two holes at the top and the bottom of the ends of the hat band, after I have cut them to the right length , then I  lace from the top to the bottom, start at the top, lace the top two holes from the front to the back, cross your latigo lace and come out the bottom holes from the back to the front, then pull them snug, I like to leave some stremers, and dress them up a little, I tie them to the back of the hat, this way more of your work can be seen from any direction you look at it, when they're tied this way they never come off accidently, hope this helped.

Very nice, WC. The double buckle is really interesting (and stylish)!

TenWolves, that's the idea I was toying with. I kind of like the mountain man quality in that.
