Help - a friend is trying give widow a nice shadow box for her deceased huband

A freind of mine is putting together a shadow box for his mother inlaw's family.

He got a copy of the gents old DD-214 and has gotten everything but two things - marksmanship awards.  On the rifle and pistol score the form only has the number score.

Can anyone tell me what a score of 75 - 45 cal pistol and 143 - 30 cal carbine would have equated to back in 1930-40's?

He is trying to finish it as a 4th of July suprise.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Qualification scores change over time.

These scores are derived from WWII Field manuals.

FM 23-35 - Pistols and Revolvers states:

Pistol Expert: 280 (w/pistol) - 285 (w/revolver)

Pistol Sharpshooter: 245 (w/pistol) -  250(w/revolver)

Pistol Marksman: 210 (w/pistol) -  215 (w/revolver)

FM 23-7 - U.S. Carbine Caliber .30 M1 and M1A1 states:

Expert: 175 (w/L type sight) - 180 (w/adjustable sight)

Sharpshooter: 160 (w/L type sight) - 165 (w/adjustable sight)

Marksman: 135 (w/L type sight) -  140 (w/adjustable sight)

I've seen a lot of old DD214's - I've never seen one featuring just the numerical scores.

Tks Pards - only going off the info he gave me.

I worked for the detailers for just over a year (the people who give you orders to transfer) and I have seen enough mistakes in just active and reservve duty records on every kind of form that I can easily imagine the kinds of mistakes made on DD-214's that never got fixed because the person getting out did not consider it a big deal when they got out.
