Savage Sam wins Juniors at EOT

Savage Sam,a jnr from a country town called Cowra in the central west of New South Wales took out Juniors at EOT and came in 6th overall. Well done young Sam.

A good result for the Aussies we had 3 in the top 20.

DD, you didn't say anything about Trooper winning B Western. Just because he is an Old Man and this is his 2nd World Title, he did good too. The adopted Aussie.

Levi I am sorry about that, just could not get over Sam doing so well over there. Yes Trooper or as he is known in the US Constable Nelson won B Western at EOT 08 his second world title his first was for Frontier Cartridge back in 2001.

Good work by both shooters!

Last time I saw Trooper was at Hell on Wheels Downunder in Canberra. He was having gun troubles and was shooting one Old Model Vaquero and one Ruger Old Army cap and ball. I guess he got that sorted out. he was still shooting up a storm though.

DD,
I shot with the Rnger Family in Fredriksburg, this past weekend, Sam won the Jr. Boys and Top over all shooter, The Trapper was 1st MT, Shakalo Joe was 2nd MT and The Ringer was 3rd MT., Ricochet was 2nd in 49er. Jess won Jr. Girls and was 2nd in the Ladies overall. The kids also won all there Side Matches and the Nite Shoot and Trapper and the Ringer was 1st and 2nd in the Nite Shoot.
I had a wonderful time shooting with them. Sure will be glad when I can again.

Hmm, that's odd. I didn't make the Resurrection this year, but I received an email with the scores file from Dusty Lone Star yesterday and it showed Shalako Joe 1st overall and Savage Sam 2nd overall. Oh well, either way that must be an awesome young shooter!

I'll be going up to Cowra this Sunday to shoot with the Cowra Cowboys. I don't know if Ringer and his tribe are back yet. It will be the first cowboy shoot my new ladyfriend has seen, we are both looking forward to it. Mick.

Yes Mick, Ringer and family are back and should be at the shoot on Sunday.Hope the lady friend enjoys the shooting. Say Hi to them all out there.
