How else are ya gonna be "stong ta da finitch"?

Try it with some worchestire an wine vinager (in the pot not sprinked on after)  I don know if Popeye ever had it that way, but it helps.

Mos folk don know the key ta potted meat.  Hold the mayo an jus let it sweat a bit.  You'd be suprised of all the untapped flavors jus diein ta get out.
Or jus go 'head an eat it right out the can, room temp.  You'll never know what ya missed.

all this talk about Spinach got me to thinking about when I was a kid, we raised about 50 or 60 acres every year.  my Dad would always tell the story about the first farm he bought after he and Mom got married, he planted a crop of Spinach, he harvested a real good crop the first cutting, he said it rained so much he couldn't get in to work it up for the next crop, so when it finally dried up, the Spinach was big enough to cut again,  kept raining, spinach grew again,  he cut 3 cuttings off that one planting and paid for the farm with the first crop he planted  after he bought it.  ;D  that was about 1940

My dad did the same thing except with sweet potatoes.
At that time Van Zandt Co Texas was the sweet potato capital of the world..

One outstanding crop paid off the farm.
Dad said he often wishes he had bought more land after that and planted again but he wanted cows and hay, much easier for a man with a full time job at the post office.
