Here 'n in Carolina liquor is in government owned stores, Less tax on it in Carolina. Here the better wines are in those stores too. Beer 'n cigarettes just about anywhere.

Last time I was in New Jersey I had to go to a liquor store for beer.

Last time I was in Las Vegas anything ya wanted was in the grocery.

Funny story...
Went ta Dalton Georgia fer a week long trainin course at a carpet mill. 12 guys from all over the nation showed up not knowin that you couldn't buy beer on Sunday in Georgia

Most of us had flown in but a guy from Iowa drove his pick up down.
Next thing ya knew there was a pick up full a carpet layers headed fer Tennessee

When they got back ta the motel they had more beer in that truck then I could count. Guess they didn't want a run out before Monday.

You should be able to get a sixpack to go in New Jersey at any bar.

The last time I was in South Carolina, the liquor store was not allowed to sell mixers so they had a seperate entrance in the back where they sold coke, pepsi, 7-Up, etc. I also remember ordering a mixed drink at a resturant there (1985) and it came seperate.....the glass of coke and a little bottle of rum like you get on airplane...they weren't allowed to mix it for you. Hope it has changed since then.

SB, ain't never been to a bar up there. Last trip, we were beat havin' left ORF around 0600. Partner was an MLB fan 'n there was an evenin' TV game he wanted ta see. Already spent all day in the Showboat. Ate light 'n went to a grocery for beer 'n snacks for the motel stay. Looked all over for the beer. Asked a clerk 'n she said the liquor store. Same strip shop a few doors down.

Same trip we got locked up 'n forgot in Cape May.

The Moose and I went to a PBR event last night. Moose had to show her ID to get a membership to buy beer at the concession stand. They put a little paper bracelet on her wrist and let her buy us a couple of beers. Arcey, I had to drink Coors Light, No Bud or Bud Light. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices.

Arcey, To top it off, the Coors Light was in cans. I don't feel too much the worst for wear. I've got plenty of Bud Light bottles here at the house for the weekend.

What I want ta try when the weather gets warm is some of Mike's Hard Lemonade. I really enjoy lemonade on a hot day. Might not like Mike's thinkin' it might be too sweet but there's one way ta find out. Ain't sure if it's at the grocery or at the ABC stores. Virginia is strange when it comes to who can sell what.

I just tried the Bud with lime this weekend. It's not bad, but very similar to the Miller Chill.

I had a girlfriend who loved that Mike's hard lemonade. It's not bad, but let me warn you... it's awfully sweet. I could never drink enough to get a buzz.

I had forgotten about that. The last time I was down there was in '01 and it was the same. I didn't know it was due to a law, I just thought the waitress was lazy.

Forgive me Trinity fer I have sinned...

Last night dinner consisted of a sweet tater, corn on the cob an an artichoke as the main course.

I thought mebbe this transgression could be overlooked, then realized what we's havin tanight...EGGPLANT parmesian

(I love the stuff).
No, I'm not goin all vegan on ya

an ain't sent away fer no PITA membership neither, the menus just worked out that way.

I feel so dirty...
