For those of use still rolling our own 45-75 brass Midway has 50 round boxes of new .348 brass for 29.99.

Boy, I can't argue there.  That 348 brass is good and tough.  Were it not that I already have a bunch, I would get more.  I have 348 brass, 50 AK brass and Bertram in my pile.  Of the three I would rate that 348 stuff right up there and the Bertram right at the bottom both with regards to dependabilty and cost.  You should see about 348 brass made by Remington also if it is still to be had.  It, at least the stuff that I got, seems to be a bit tougher than the Winchester stuff.  A note in passing, I sent off an e-mail to Starline inquiring as to when their 45-75 brass might become available and no answer yet.   ;)
