where to get a patterson?
« on: May 09, 2008, 06:32:49 AM »
Where is the best place to get a patterson?  I had one on order a while back, but uberti quit making them and Midway never got anymore.

Dixie has one for about 500$ish, but it's a pietta

Anybody else make one?  I'd prefer the one with the loading leaver, but it's not absolutly necisary.

thanks!

Try www.collectorsfirearms.com/admin/product_details.php?itemID=22231: thats a factory engraved one at $ 495,00. They are also offer another engraved one at $ 450,00.
Unfortunately Uberti discontinued production of the Paterson about 2 years ago...
Good luck!

Kind of ironic, but my unfired Paterson made by Uberti might just appreciate in value over time.  I never thought that would happen when I bought it from EMF.

Here is another Pietta.  Kind of pricy though.

Navy Arms lists one but it does not have a loading lever.

Their website lists Pietta as one of their suppliers (along with Uberti, Pedersoli, and others) but the product description does not specify the maker of the Patterson.

The best way to find out what they have is to talk to a warm body on the phone.  I bet it is a Pietta as Uberti hasnt been making them for about a year now.

I'm not in the market now but for future reference have there been problems with the Pietta models vis a vis the Uberti?

Thanks.

Not that I am aware of.  I can tell you that the Uberti made Paterson has the same Mongo spring problem that some of their other guns have.  Pietta is the only game in town now unless you find a used Uberti that you want to pay alot more for.
