Howdy!

We Hoosier members have been blessed this Spring.  And we're not done yet.

The SMVS members had a great shoot last weekend.  Fun ... and Mother Nature gave us great weather ... after nearly drowning us earlier in April.  :P

Yesterday (4 May) the GLFMC Club had a good time doing the town of Greens Fork (IN) "Johnny Ringo Days."   Ringo was born there in 1850.  A decent crowd showed up for the town's get-together that featured our club members doing some robberies and gunfights as well as the Bike (H.D.) rally.  Great weather again!

Today, the 4th - the monthly GLFMC shoot (not our regularly scheduled monthly outing, but changed due to Mother's Day on the usual 2nd Sunday) was well attended and shot ... again, in beautiful weather.  At both shoots the clouds of BP smoke billowed and the grins shined as brightly as the sun!  ;D  At both shoots we were graced by numerous out-of-town and out-of-STATE visitors, including Johnny McCrea, who drove over 600 miles (round trip) to shoot with us!

Our trigger fingers and coffee cups are finally getting some proper work-outs!

Keep yer powder dry!

Howdy Pards,

Well it was definitely well worth the ride! It was a great shoot with beautiful weather.

But most important, I met a lot of good people who made me feel very very welcome. Many thanks to everyone at the Great Lakes Freight & Mining Company for showing this old timer a wonderful time. You Hoosiers put on a great shoot and know how to have a good time. I will be back.

You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

We were very pleased to have you, Johnny, and certainly hope you felt the trip was worthwhile.
It was also a pleasure to meet another CASCity pard face-to-face.

Hope you had a great time and know that you're always welcome.
