Drydock

Gentlemen: She changed her mind, which she has every right to do.  I would ask out of my deep heartfelt respect for the lady that no further speculation be made here, and that this thread be allowed to drift off.

My apologies to all.

Congratulations to Sgt Drydock for the successful accomplishment of his mission!

An added benefit of the "entire" GAF turning out for his wedding would be a huge colorguard (assuming we are asked - I haven't received any official request yet).

"Noun   1.   shivaree - a noisy mock serenade (made by banging pans and kettles) to a newly married couple"

Sounds like with bells for the bedsprings and a wheelbarrow (  ???  :o  ::) ) your version will be even grander!

Congratulations Sgt. Drydock.   ;D ;D  I read about this first today on the Belle Alley, and it sounds like they (the female Belles) have got lots of ideas for your wedding.  Military Uniforms and a sword arc would be most fitting and is a Grand Idea.  I plan to be at the Convention with a uniform for the Military Costume contest and would be honored to attend your wedding in Dress Uniform.  This year it will be the appropriate design and color for the 1876 theme of the convention instead of the Confederate I won with last year.

Hi Sergeant - In a village near York - nice quiet little spot especially for a town marshal.  Seriously though hope you both have a great wedding day and a very happy and successful life in the USA.
