Peddler Parsons

Howdy to the camp
I got a TTN last week and gave $410.00  came with the stiff springs installed as well asthe large front sight.
Tryed it several times then switched to the lighter springs and changed the trigers to boot, tryed it again to see the difference  now I love it, will keep my other double for back-up

Steel Horse Bailey

Peddler Parson, you changed the triggers, too?  Did new triggers with smaller sears come with the gun along with the lighter springs and (since the large bead was installed) the smaller bead?

Just curious, 'cause I'm hoarding my pennies and I'd really like to know all I can 'bout these guns.  Them Commies better have their "ducks in a row" 'fore I pay for one of these guns.  ( I of course buy NOTHING else made in China ... if I can help it. :: ) Oh wait, I shop at Wal Mart, Meijer Mart, K Mart and all those other Mart Mart places, so I guess I can't escape the "Made in China" (or Maylaya, Mexico, Indonesia, etc.) label, can I?! :P

I've been saving too ...

Then the property tax bill came ...

Along with the LP tank fill ...

House mortage ...

Wife's car payment ...

what was I saving for?

I ordered mine from Walt Johnson and it was sent to my FFL (Buffalo Bill Shooting Store) The Owner like it so well he order himself one.
Very nice fit & Finish & American Black Walnut is very nicely figured.
I too got the lighter springs, came with them installed  ( I'm impressed with it OEM out of the box)
The lever spring will see some lighting and a light polish to the hinge.

I understood TTn has a great Customer Relations, and judging by a personal request by me to Walter Johnson, I confirm that.

Oregon Bill

Y'all still happy with your TTN hammer guns? I was leaning toward the Adco Diamond, but these seems to have a real good reputation for durability once dialed in.

Four-Eyed Buck

Love mine, Bill. Their CS has been good to me......Buck 8) ;)
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Silver_Rings

Been shooting mine for a year or 2 and couldn't be happier.  ;D ;D  Functions great, recoil is lighter because of the increased weight.  ;D  I can even use the cheap Estate brand target loads and they fall out just as good as the AA and I like cheap.  ;D ;D

I never got around to lighting the lever or polishing the hinge just never seem all that necessary.
Though, I'd be very happy if it were made in the good ol USA.... it's not....
And just try to find a TV or Computer made here ....."Rots o Ruck"  ;D

Wymore Wrangler

Still love mine, but the right hammer spring broke during a match this weekend, got an appointment with Ultona to have him fix it, not sure if I'm not going to put the heavier springs back in, I haven't heard of any of the heavier springs breaking... ;D

If you all don't mind me asking, what did you pay for your scattergun?  I need to get one to complete my 3 gun set up.

$269 at Big 5. They had been on sale for $249 but I missed that one. Got my Puma (in .45 LC) there too. $369 on sale. They are up to $399 (sale price) now. I guess 4 months is a long time! :P

Howdy All

I don't know why I feel I have stepped on some one's toes with my post, I was just saying how happy I was with mine , and to let others know that the TTN is a great SXS, worth the money, if I offended anyone by this, then your taking it the wrong way.
