...or know where I can get  patterns for cutting steel targets?

Yes, but all I found was ready made targets. I have some steel and thought that would be a good way to use it.

Did you have any particular patterns you're looking for?  Most clubs just use standard rectangles.  I' do some looking around in some of the dusty files on my PC and see if I have any different silhouettes or such.

I was kind of thinking of Buffalo, cowboys, & indians. I'm also interested in the reset mechanism used by some knock downs.

Try http://members.dslextreme.com/users/cliffhanger/CH2.htm, also I have a disc with buffalo shilloutes I could send you a couple. I blow one up at a copy shop for a pard to make targets from, worked for him.
