Was just reading the blurb on this new black powder sub and it looks like it would be a good powder for the 76 calibers.Has very little residue and easy clean up.That is if you're into BPsubs.Down here in NZ we probably won't see any for quite a while, hell we only got triple 7 over the past year or so.I only use Black my self but it would be interesting to see how this Blackhorn goes in cartridges.Any one used it yet?Supposed to have higher velocities with lower pressures. ;)

Canyon - No, I have not shot any of it.  Here is a Google link with many articles about the powder ...

Just a reminder - since Blackhorn contains nitrocelluose, it is NOT an acceptable BP substitute for ANY SASS sanctioned matches, main or long range side.

Per SASS.

Hedley - Where did you find that it is nitrocelluose based powder?  One of the forums says it's not ... http://forums.bowcountry.com/bcforums/showthread.php?p=132671

Looked around and Google to determine and there is no mention of the compounds except there's a 'hole' in the grains
