That ought to be worth something to a collector of Coke stuff.

That's what we figgured.  After some research taday I know more about identifying Coke bottles an carriers than I have room in ma noggin for.  The only thing we haven't found is the difference in value between empties an unopens.  E-Bay is ruining the collecting trade so far as the person who wants ta sell is concerned.

Don't think I've ever looked for Pepsi anywhere.

Coke plant on Monticello Ave. in Norfolk been in bidness longs I kin remember. Bus stop right in front. Had plate glass windows. Ya could watch the stuff bein' bottled from the sidewalk.

Late sixties, the poor oppressed folks livin' nearby started bustin' the glass out. It's all brick now. Guess that's the price of keepin' them pitiful folks down.

Funny thing in Georgia is that every softdrink is a "coke".  Just like "pop" in the Midwest.
Someone says, "ya want a coke?"  You say sure an then they ask ya what kind.  Don matter if it's Orange Crush, Dr Pepper or 7up--it's all coke down there.  People looked at me funny fer sayin soda.

Litl Rooster, you have a right to be nervy-ous - there's 4 of us whut remember the story behind that (and a few others) pitcher!  ;D

In spite of the reason for us bein' there at that time, it's still one of the highlights of my life!  Almost makes me want to watch "the Ranger; the Cook; and a Hole in the Sky" and eat some Corned Beef 'n Cabbage.  (YUMMY!!)

I actually can watch that movie without turnin' the sound down during the first part of the film these days!!  :o :o :o :o :o  ::) ::)  ;D ;D

Great shot, Brother Trinity!  ;D  (with a little help from Photoshop, of course)
