I can remember when I was just a kid, checking stuff out to see if it had a Made in Japan sticker,  didn't want none of that Japenese junk back then.

I think yer right about that Buck,  I sometimes just wonder what it'll be like when our grankids get out age, could be bad news

The first place I ever heard "Mark My Words" was on a cassette tape of "The Ugly Duckling".  It was part of a cassette/book combo I had when I was four.  I remember getting the biggest kick out of that. 

Don't ask me how I remember stuff like that.  I can't remember conversations I had yesterday, but I have memories (and not at all aided by photographs) as far back as three years old (moving around a lot allows a person to pinpoint time frames. ;D).

thought of one today as I drove by the gas stations,  used  to be on Friday night we'd say let's put a couple of dollars of gas in the car and go drag main.  nowdays I don't know if you could squeeze and let off on the gas handle before 2 dollars worth came out. ;D
