with all that talk about using it up, it made me think when I was a kid people around didn't just trade cars all the time, you had one that was using oil, you overhauled it, then if that went south you overhauled the overhaul,  used it up.

Every time I look in the one shed at the farm and see the cans of old bent nails Grandpa saved it brings back fond memories of straightin' nail on the brick sidewalk to help him build somethin'.  BTW the sidewalk lead to the outhouse.

I remember being one of the first things asked in a game of 20 questions...but then that might have been a bread box (made one fer Mom in woodshop--canvas backed roll top an all!).  Dad still uses the dang thing :)

     Knew scosh weren't a swear, but thinking of that man reminded me a summa the other things he used ta say (one in particular referred to the soiling of ones bed).  My mind wandered on to Mom and how she used ta react ta unpleasant situations.  Sometimes I jump around a scosh ;)
