Hola!
We are going to build a plate rack.  ;D  5 plates x 10 inch, spaced 4 inches apart. Anybody have any previous experience making these things? Pitfalls? Good ideas? Protected pneumatic wheels? I've already thought to make them lean uprange a bit to direct splatter down. Say 5 degrees? There has been discussion of making them 12 inch. The name of the game is big targets, but i think 12 inch is too much. Plus the .38's may not topple them. (Tough luck, I says  ;) )
For those of us a little to the North, I have good info that there WILL be a 2008 shooting season!  ;D Apparently there has been a light on at the end of the tunnel the whole time, but someone turned it off to conserve electricity!  :o
Keep 5 beans in yer wheel,

I haven't built a plate rack but have built some other types of targets.  Biggest problem I'd see is making it easy to reset without going down range. Course if you made them swingers that would elimnate that problem.
I think you might ought to use solid tires or really build some protection for the others. You'd be surprised how bad some folks can miss!! ;D
Good luck with ya plates. (I like the smaller one's myself)
Buy American as the job you save might be your own!

Thank's for your 2 cents pard. We'll take our time with the design. Measure twice, cut once. I'll send ya a tintype of it.
How does the blue "NEW" button get onto the posts? Do I do it?

Once a thread is started like yours, whenever you go to the area, if someone has posted on that thread since the last time you looked at it the "new" button should appear.  By clicking on the new button you should go the the first post made after the last one you read in that thread. This applies whether you started the thread or you are just looking at it.
If ya can't be fast it's good to be Lucky!
