Loaded up some BP 45-60 shells tonight!

First BP cartridges I ever loaded...I nearly wet myself by the time I finished    Wasn't near as hard as I thought it would be. Going to try that new '76 out friday morning!

Get back down there and load some more, we will need more then 10 of them there bullets come Friday.

You'll cringe in horror.... I used 2ff elephant! I  shoot it in my cartridge shot guns.  I've got 6lbs stashed away. This is an old lot from '98. It ignites and burns well, but it's a bit dirty. You never know until you try. I used to be able to buy elephant powder for about $3.00 a can. Those were the days...
I'm thinking of getting a bottle of Pyrodex (YIKES! I never thought I would hear myself say that!) and loading up a few of those , just to see if I may get good results.
