Trinity, I'm enjoying a well-deserved retirement, living life large.

I live life every day large.  ...I guess that's why the doc tells me that I should lose weight.

Regarding quiet; I think it has finally gotten cool enough for some of ust to go out shootin, and they are either on their way home or cleaning guns...

People ask me why I chose the first part of October to go on vaction in Texas it is the window (I'm hopin') that Texas weateher is fit for humans ... after the heat and hopefully before the rains ....

And I was born in Texas, so I get to comment on it ....*S*

Don't mind the heat so very much ... it gets over 110 degrees in Sac for a couple of weeks in July and August .... just as long as it is in the low 90s and it isn't raining so much that the arroyos are flooding .... hopefully I will miss both of those .... and I think snake molting season is in the spring .... so I miss that ....

October sounds better to me all the time ...

BTW, speaking of animals, my cousin sent me two pics a photographer took while sitting on the fron porch of one of the bunkhouses ...

Doggone big brother... you sure have a way with words!

Hmmmm, wonder how that happened.  I didn't even have a comment on that issue.   ::)

It's a sign of wisdom! ;)

Wait, or was that a sign of age?  Dang, I can never remember.

I go down to LLano a few times a year. They've got a great place to eat BBQ at.

My cousin mentioned that there was both a good BBQ place and a good Mexican food place (and both run by families) in Mason ... and since I can't seem to fund goo BBQ or Sopapillas her, I plan to hit both places ....*S*
