Trinity awakens and drinks from his jug.  "Wow!  Ah love this stuff, what on earth is it?  It tastes lahk tea... what's sweet.   Ah'm gonna call it sweettea!"  Trinity boxes up his jug and sends it back to North Carolina to his family.


And so explains the origin of sweettea (or "pre-sweetened tea" for the yankees) in the south.

I'm back and on form.

The trials and tribulations of life kept me from cyberspace for a while but all the time I spent away I kept thinking of you all.

Major problems in my non CAS life almost had me quitting every form of shooting sports. The spirit was almost broken.

Lots of thanks to my best friend/girlfriend/partner who patiently stood by me and cheered me up when I was down and kept me from making rash decisions.

We now have another lady who wishes to participate in this fine sport of ours and being a nurse she has decided upon the cowboy name of

PENNY CILLIN

All praise to the great cure all. The destruction of infection and the best friend a cowboy could ever have.

Trinity and Forty Rod I'll be watching.

She puts up with me fine so far, in that I havent as yet, opened wide and stuffed both size 9 1/2  feet into my mouth.

As to my CAS family she is not really aware of you all yet. She has met some of the New Zealand cowboys and is amazed at how we all support each other.

It is the cowboy attitude that has convinced her to join in. The costume part apeals to her mostly but I have her looking at shooting.

Until the other week she never fired any sort of firearm. A mate soon put paid to that innocence. He gave her a .32 caliber front stuffer and she fell for it straight away.

Another practioner of the darkside. Another soot lady in the making. Told me she finds the BP shooting very enjoyable and fun.

Its nice to be back F.E.B., for a while there I damm near kicked it all in.

What we in NZ refer to as "spitting the dummy".

Have one particular person here who is determined to get me kicked from the club (no club no pistol licence).

He went so far as to attempt to get a trespass court order against me going to the range.

All because he did something wrong and had to appologise to me.

Also compounded by me being a real stubborn SOB when I know I am in the right.

Missed you all. Now to get back to burning some powder. Skittle competition in two weeks time (I'm shooting it COWBOY).
