Geronimo said it as he surrendered to General George Crook in 1883.
Good job, pard.

BTW did ya ever notice how much Davey Crockett and Daniel Boone looked alike. ;D ;D ::) ::) ::) :o :o :o :D :D :D ;)

Hey, I rode in an elevator with Davy Crockett in San Antonio** when he was making his Alamo movie in Brackettville, and he didn't look at all like Daniel Boone.  Thinkin' back on that experience, he did look a bit like Rooster Cogburn, though. :P

**He had an ear infection and was seeing an ear specialist in the Medical Arts Building where my mom worked at the time.

Capt.

I have a question, which Alamo Film in Brackettville ?

the first was  " The Last Command" Arthur Hunnicutt played Crockett (at the Louis Hobbs Ranch)

next was  "The Alamo"  John Wayne as Crockett  the Ybarra Set was at the Happy Shahan Ranch

then the yawner " 13 Days to Glory"  the late Brian Keith was Crockett

followed by arguably the best " Alamo the Price of Freedom " the late Merrill Connally (Texas Governor John's brother )

I was the Production Designer for "Alamo the Price of Freedom " and totally re-built the ruin of Ybarra's set and corrected the anchorisms and incorrect fasad of the 27 year old set.

(BTH Disney's Film 2004 "Alamo" set... is not to scale, compound is about 50% smaller that the true 1836 Mission Fort)

when planets align...do the deal !
