Appears to be the first time in a while Johnson ain't gettin' the best stuff. If he gets it it'll be with second rate stuff. Also seein' the 88 ain't runnin' quite as well as he had been lately. Elliott's lookin' right good. Put Gordon in the best stuff 'n maybe he'll win another championship 'n get out of the way.

To 'honor' Gordon, the thief retains the rights to the 24 and retires it. The 9 goes from Petty to the former 24 team with Elliott drivin' the thing wrapped in NAPA colors. 

Kahne will be extremely excited about the great things goin' on with his new ride with Front Row Motorsports. After a couple seasons he be back in sprint cars, 'real' racin'.

Thinkin' if the 2 'n/or 22 can make it thru the plate race the thief's gang is gonna face an uphill battle – phantom day-bree cautions or no.

Do wanna caution folks ta the racin' expert on the radio talk show who proclaimed – 'Ford is strugglin'.'
