Was a good race to watch yesterday at Road America WI for those without Attention Deficit Disorder....

Regan Smith still leads the Nationwide points for JR Motor Sports....nice...

I watch the 24 Hours , Sadly there was fatality , Driver Allan Simonsen crashed his Aston Martin 10 Minutes in , and died of his injury's.

The Junior that actually knows how to drive a stock car plum wore 'em out. Seein' on the results he led close ta half of it. Do some readin' in the mornin' ta see how some lucked inta their finishes 'n what happened to some others.

Happy for my ole friends at NAPA too.

As much of a joke as MWR was when it started, who'd thought they'd have won two on that silly track – straight - 'n with inferior, non-ringer drivers.

Both take great finess though...
I'm more into Road Racing ... I've never cared for Drags.

The old Riverside track was very cool to watch the old Stock Cars with AJ , Dan Gurney & the elder Andreti .

I finally got to see the Riverside track on a visit to California, but The track had been closed, as well the Ontario Speedway.

I been reading all day that Kyle Petty has been running his mouth about the pretty lady. Right or wrong he drives a microphone better than a car. 25 years ago i'd told you he was a great guy

There was a time he did , I met both at a Pontiac Industrial I staged, I remember it was the big intro for the Fiero.
Both were Drivers at the time, Kyle had his future ahead of him (8 wins in Cup).
Losing Adam, messed him up a lot....

Still, I think he should have held his tongue $:-\$

Thing I'm curious about is how long it's gonna take before folks - not the professional hypers, fans - acknowledge he's right.

Press conference when she announced the move she said she was doin' it to 'grow my brand.' Nothin' about bein' a competitive driver.

I've seen Patrick's tramp-stamp on the web. Magazines air-brush it out. If I was curious about her performance I'd ask Stenhouse. Looks wise I prefer fully developed women.

Read the article on Petty o'er breakfast ta see what the rub was. He did, in fact, make an error. Her average start this year thru the road thing last week is 32nd (gotten inta 7 on OP). Her Turtle like runs give 'er an average finish 'bout six spots up in the 'top 26.' She races better than she qualifies. He was right on the 'marketing machine' thing. Others have referred to her as a cash cow. Same difference.

That said, we all shoulda known what this was. Did soon as I saw it on NASCAR's site. It's a cheap bump. It's a set up aimed at the fan with dual citizenship so to speak – NASCAR 'n professional rasslin'. Get 'em talkin' 'n buyin' chinese made junk. .
