'Dedskins'? Did ya mean 'Dead' er did ya make up a new name? Either way, very clever. 'Sleep gets a silver foil star on his calendar for taday. Actually, VT has won two. Told ya 'fore them dear ole college players, in it for the love of the game, are what contaminates the pros.

See yer a real fan there, 'Sleep. When they weren't whinin' in the pits, the Labonte boys hadn't been born.

Terry, 2 championships. One of those drivin' fer yer favorite, Tex, Hendrick. O'er 800 races run he won 22. Runnin' a hunnert races fewer, drivin' for the same owner, the 'gay' (wanna tell us bedroom tales, 'Sleep?) boy has four championships 'n won 81 races. The 'l'il buddy', same owner, has matched Terry's championships. Ain't made 300 races yet 'n he's won 37.

Terry's done a ton ah whinin'. The most memorable was when he realized his considerable skills were bein' used to drive an R&D car for Gordon. That 'n trainin' new crew members for the 24. The pout was short, only a full season. Hendrick told 'im ta shut up 'n drive if he wanted ta keep the ride 'n he said, 'Yahsah, Mr. Hendrick, boss man'  'n he shut up 'n drove.

'N, ah course, the classic, when he blocked Earnhardt for thirty some odd laps at Bristol 'til Earnhardt took 'im out. Second time. First time Earnhardt just moved 'im. Second time he put ole Terry in the fence. Ya'd kindah think he'd ah learned ta get outtah the way the first time. Was on TV Monday mornin' askin' NASCAR ta take the win from that mean ole Earnhardt 'n give it ta him. Didn't werk but it was worth a try.

Cough, cough... Earnhardt. Almost two hunnert fewer starts, 76 wins. Rookie of the year in '79, first championship in '80 then 6 more. Cough, cough....

Lookin' like y'all have selective memories. Don't ya think?

These days, Terry's so well respected he can't even buy his kid a ride like his daddy did for him with Billy Hagen.

But Terry was the best. He was the best also ran to ever win two championships.

Now, shall we start on Bobby? Or maybe Robbie Loomis?  Hehe..... guar-roon-teed Bobby would win a race this season within the first 8 races. Not even close but it was good fer a chuckle.  He's a good ole Texas boy. Won a championship sittin' on the box with Jeffy-Poo 'n werkin' for Hendrick. Prolly the one who can tell us 'bout the gay boy first hand.

Never let the facts get in the way.

Heh, heh, heh........

Think tha only heros I ever had were my dad and grandpa. Know that neither was perfect but they were someone to look up to.

Bro. Sleep did you put a sand burr in Arcey's britches? Sounds like he got up on the wrong side of the bed. You goota admit the Redskins are not popular in Texas. This goes back to the days of George Allen. The Eagles ain't real high on my list dating back to the days of Buddy Ryan's bounties.

I'm watchin' a car auction and I saw a 31 Dusenburg Model J Conv. go for 2.4 million.  A little out of my "fixed income" budget.

Went down ta the gas station ta grab a deck a coffin nails an a guy rolls up in a brand new Lotus.  Didn't know they were still makin em.  Air scoop on the top an looked nimble as all get out.  Too small fer me but I'd a loved ta run er just once.

I remember when Jim Clark ran the Lotus at Indy the first time.  The car was painted green and the ol' timers said that a green car was bad luck at Indy. They were still runnin' the roadsters at Indy then. He finshed 2nd to AJ in 64 and came back In 65 and won. The Co. was founded by Colin Chapaman in 1948. After Chapman died ,GM bought it then it was sold to Bugatil. Bugatil kept it a couple of years then it was sold to an outfit in Malaysia.

In 64, most of the Indy cars were the front engine Offy powered. Chapman built that Lotus which was rear engine. Chapman put a 260 FORD small block with HP heads and a set Of Weber carbs in that little car. It was light weight and not hard on tires and Clark won second behind Foyt. In 65, them came with one of those 4 cam V8 with more horsepower and Clark won in 65. Gradually all the teams at Indy went to the rear engine cars.

I believe the jinx with BRG (Brittish racing green) started with the MG team back in the 50's.  It carried over inta the motorcycle world.  Made it a point ta always paint mine that color 'cept fer the last one.  ;D

But was it cause of MG?  It's buggin me now.  Somethin about them haven a disasterous season and all there cars were BRG.  Dumped the color fer good.  Don't think it was Austin Healy.
