Sponsors are so tight right now. The 10 is piecemeal. I'm a pessimistic ole fart. Thinkin' Sorenson goes in the 10 when it's all said 'n done.

Carl Edwards has it goin'. On a roll. Aflac joins up for a partial schedule this season. Next season ain't here yet 'n they're sellin' off races already. Rumors are that's where the Army might wind up. Part time on the 99.

Cuzzin Carl shouldn't have any trouble gettin' sponsored next year, I don't understand why Office Depot is leavin them.

What I heard, don't make it true, Stewart gave 'em a substantial discount. Several million under what Roush wanted to re-sign 'em.

Yeah. Looks like the rich, fat boy 'bout milked NASCAR almost to the end. Reckon he's gottah do sumthin' ta finance his big go carts 'n sports cars. Ain't no money in that.

Lost Texaco. Couldn't keep a sponsor for the 40 'n couldn't find a replacement. The only stock car driver they had is leavin'.

Target re-ups for, supposedly, 'nuff ta finance two cars. Maybe three or four. If that happens he'll put one of his go cart drivers in. That's gonna werk. Instant wins. Seems he's gone that route.

Montoya would give him a shot at winnin' somethin' on a road course. If he had the equipment 'n support. He's a good top 20 otherwise. He got in the way real well at Bristol.

Next season, the 41 will be a rollin' road block.

The 40 won't be back.

Thinkin' the boy ain't gettin' no more from Target than he's ever got. Just gonna split it twix two.

Seems he'd know. These folks with the money he wants to put their logos on his cars ain't stupid. They do their research. They know which cars 'n drivers get air time. That's what they're payin' for.

But, as long as the cash flow is positive, ole Chip will be spewin' the same lines just like a politician. Then *poof* he'll be gone. Back ta wearin' his l'il beret. Sippin' w(h)ine 'n munchin' on cheese in the paddock. Can't be soon 'nuff...

The Dodge camp is in trouble.  Other than winnin' at Daytona, Penske hadn't done much.  Forget about Petty. Evrenham has looked good at times, Gannasi, NOT. Poor Ol Robby Gordon.

Gordon knew what he was gettin' into when he did it. Just keeps diggin' deeper.

Evernham lost his mind over a small, skinny, ugly red-head 'n let his bread 'n butter go to seed. Should be a real chuckle with what they do with Sorenson 'n Carpentier.

Petty is livin' 30 years ago.

Penske is a business man as is Ganassi. Their hearts are other places as they are when the go carts run when the stock cars are.

Dodge is hurtin' because they've been offerin' an inferior product since I was a kid 'n in this economy funny lookin' bodies ain't gonna keep ya afloat.

All in my extremely humble opinion.

When they sold everyone cop cars  and muscle cars they were up there. That has all changed.

Getcher whine ear protection ready fer this evenin'. Busch sure stunk that up.

Apprarently JGR has kept Rogers,  Ratcliff 'n company in the shops. If ta didn't see the pre-race stuff. Busch said they'd set the cars up 'n were in steady communications with the teams by cell phone.

knause did the same at Hendrick. If anything is said about it, someone needs to complain about Hendrick's bunch when they were suspended. I amsick and tired of them being special. If Rick hadn't got Leukimia.\, his butt would have been in the Fed. Pen.

I bad mouth Kalifornia much as I can. Gottah be honest. The weather broke 'n that was good. When ESPN decided to show it, the racin' for fifth on back was pretty damned good.

Didn't like the outcome 'n that part wan't fun to watch. Red Bull killed their ownselves with cruddy pit stops. Front tire changer for the 83 needs ta go. Cost Vickers Saturday in the 32 also.

Ain't that I'm a big fan of Red Bull. Just that I'd like ta see a greater number of competitive teams on the track. They improve as much next year as they have this one they'll be there. Hope they leave 'Dinger the 84 but it ain't lookin' good. Shame. The boy's earned 'nother season.

Maybe these announcers will shut up for a while now that Johnson won at California. I am gettin' tired of hearin' all this weepin, and moanin' and groanin' about JJ and Wonder Wimp not Winnln'. They were all happy last year when Hendricks bunch was winnin' all the races.  Contrary to popular opinion, everyone don't like JJ and Wonder Wimp!

They have their annointed. I mute 'em often but here lately I've found comic value in 'em.

Yesterday's award goes to the crew callin' the go carts. Didn't watch much of it. Shouldah. Bet it was good for a pile ah laffs. Saw dear Patrick stalled. The voice is sayin' she's stalled 'n tryin' ta get goin'.

Now how, pray tell, is she gonna get goin'? The go carts don't have starters. She sits 'n waits for the safety crew or gets out 'n walks to the garage. Oh, 'skooze me, the paddock.  There's no third option.

Yea! The last time I drove a cart, there wern't no ignition switch or starter button.

Be nice if these go carts had a recoil starter on 'em. Then the drivers could get out 'n fire 'em up. Folks what pay good money ta watch a race get ta see 'em drive 'round under caution while the safety crews get 'em outtah the way.

Hehehehehe... They brag 'bout hi-tech $20,000. steerin' wheels 'n no starter.

Oh well.....Thinkin' the Friday fun 'n games ain't gonna happen. There's a chance, not much, but a chance for Saturday night. The track has dryin' equipment we don't have at the range.
