Arcey, There are only 3 classic tracks,  INDY, DAYTONA, and of course DARLINGTON.  I've been to all three, but I've never seen a race at Darlington.  I'm gonna remedy that when I retire.  I heard that they're takin' 3 % of the Toyos HP for the NNS series. Cup oughta be next.

That I dunno. Would think NASCAR put 'em on the dyno with the smaller plates ta adjust it.

Wouldn't bother me at all if the Dodge hadn't been within four. Looks ta me sumbody needs to work harder. Also looks like NASCAR said, 'OK, Jack, Rick. How small do ya want the plates on the foreigners?'   

Nothin' has changed except the names of the players. Whinin' is cheaper than R&D.

Those Toyo folks are crafty, they will come up with sumpin' new.

Well, looks like the JGR cars won again, this time it was the 18 instead the usual 20 car.  Lagano finished 9rh, Cousin Carl 11th, and 88 finshed in the Top 20.

Clint is still holdin' the lead by 173 points over the 88. Cousin Carl is only 7 points behind in 3rd.  Carl should be in second in a week or two.

The 60 runs hot 'n cold. Looks like the 2 has gone into a prevent defense. The 18, the way it looked, just ran fast 'nuff ta stay ahead of the 16. Good run for Braun thou. Especially with one them underpowered Fords what won the week before. Was real happy with Gale's finish 'n hope Harvick sticks with 'im.

Almost time fer race #20. Shut the pre-race stuff off. Got me a l'il #3 Goodwrench key fob hangin' off the mirror of the truck since it was new. I know he's gone. Don't need a slobberin' Childress tellin' tear jerkers. Let 'im rest.

Sounds like Richard is just gettin' a little sentmental.  Him and Dale spent a lot of time together, on the track and off the track. As you get older, you remember when you were young and things were maybe not as complicated as now.

The track surface is rough and tough on the tires. They are going to let the teams an extra set or two of tires for the race because of this.  Tire wear and fuel mileage are going to be important.

Tire limitations don't apply to cup.

Hope the hype's over. Stewart could see is father in the stands - yeah, sure.. Nowhere else do they kiss the bricks after the race – NOWHERE ELSE HAS BRICKS! Yep ESPN is back. My mute button is 'bout wore out.

Wonder if they'd consider doin' what the mighty open wheelers do. When yer race is tankin' change it to a timed event as they did yesterday? I'd be happy if they'd stop this thing in ten minutes.

This is, quite probably, the worst race I've seen in a very long time. Leave this place to the glorified go carts.

Well JJ won. I think cousin carl's car would have caught him in a couple more laps. Carl's car was better in the longer runs.  JJ had the best car since they unloaded on Thursday. So I guess it wasn't a stretch for JJ to win.  Hamlin seemed to be the best Toyo. Glad to Eliot and the Roush cars(except 17) run up front.

Ain't seen the finishin' order yet. I'll look later. Last third was on radio. Had things ta do. Much as I enjoy racin' ten laps 'n a caution kindah stinks. Ain't racin'.

Don't remember ever turnin' an race event off 'til taday.

On the good news side, the Mexico thing for the NNS ain't on the schedule for next season. They're givin' that date ta Iowa.

That's good for the Iowa Track.  It's a good lookin track for the NNS.  Iowa is big time WOO country. They've already got a good racin' fan base.  A lot of racin' in the Midwest.   People will pay to see em run up there.

Ain't seen much of the place. What I have seen looks real nice. At 7/8 of a mile, kindah like Richmond, it's my kindah race track. Tight, up close 'n personal. Should be a hoot.

As long as I keep my Dish and am still working full time, visiting these tracks will have to wait.
