Ain't seein' much news. If what I'm seein's right, one them folks is in right bad shape with a head injury. Tire was way up in the stands. My prayers for him or her. It's a dangerous game but it ain't supposed ta go that way.

The injured count is about 28, with one man with a serious head injury. I saw some video of 4 safety personell carrying the tire and wheel with part of the suspension down out of the grandstands. It makes you think about what can happen in a split second.

The unoffical count of injured folks stands at 28, 14 were treated at the infield care center and 14 were taken and treated at Halifax General Hospital. It's a miracle that no one was killed.  The race has just started, WW just took the lead, I hope that don't last long. I hope him and JJ finish back in the Pack.

Roo, Danica seems to be holding her own in the race. She's back in the Top 5 again. I would like to see her win the race, or at least to finish in the Top 5.

If no one remembers Talladega from a couple years ago when they followed the leader the whole race 'n the fans complained, take a look. This is how it was................

I hate that 5-time won, but Junebug made a race of it at the end. with MM in a TOYO in 3rd. Danica got shuffled back to 8th. She still ran a good race and had a fast car all day.

I'm happy she put her ego aside 'n got out of the way when it came time to go. She'll get 'em next wee........... Uh..... She'll learn some more next week. She always suckin' it up like a sponge. I think that was Eury's assessment. Or, maybe Hammond's. No, Waltrip's. One of 'em.

The thing as a whole was kinda disappointin', I thought.

Danica proved she's got speed & endurance, I remember her as the Girl Host on Speed's "Power Block" TV show.

I'd like ol Mark to pull one off ,    time is not on his side though.

Mark Martin finished 3rd in a Toyo and Brad K finished 4th in a Ford. I'm curious as to what let go in Kenseth's Toyo and Kyle B's Toyo. They were strong, especially Kenseth. Phoenix is next week, I would like to see Tony be competitive and win.

I'm guessin it were somethin small they missed.  Once they look the cars over they should have a clue.

It could be a batch of bad engine parts. I am sure they examine Hamlin's engine as well, as far as I know. it was still runnin' at the end of the race.
