Which do you guys prefer as a top finish?  On this project it will go on top of a very light oil finish and Fiebing's Antique Finish.

I've had some experience with Tan-Kote in the past and have been generally satisfied, though it does tend to stiffen.  I noted in Chuck's Frontier Holsters DVD he uses Bag-Kote.  Tan-Kote is resin based, I believe, but I'm not sure of Bag-Kote's base.

I want decent water proofing and of course as little bleeding as possible.

Thanks

I used Tan-Kote for many years, but now I use Skidmore's Leather Cream. I like the natural ingredients. The bees wax also
works great to repel water.
