I thought some time back I had located a website that had some Civil War Era rifles that were made by Uberti but I can't seem to locate anything at this time.  Does anyone know if Uberti makes this type of item & where would one look to find it?

Thank you in advance.

I think the only one that they make is the Remington 1866 carbine.  You probably saw Pedersoli or Amri San Marco.

They never made 'em. Twice, they made Santa Fe Hawkens but not Civil War era longarms.

Well, I did locate the 1858 Remington Target Carbine but, I thought for some reason I saw a Uberti site one time that had what was called the Hartford Collection of several rifle styles made by Uberti?

I don't think the 1858 Remington Carbine would be acceptable for CW competition.

OK, I found a site that DOES have the Uberti made rifles but they infact do not make any civil war rifles.  The CW rifles are made by Pietta and C&C.  These will due as Pietta makes a fine rifle as well.

Heeeey!  Did I just lose a possible sale?  :D ;D
Yeah, that Rem carbine was a post CW item.  Still fun to shoot, though, and have fired off a few rounds at our local Gettysburg Day shoots.  We explain that to the general public who visit, but most don't care about the history.  They just think it looks kewl.   ;D

Well my friend, that would depend on what it is you have to offer & how much Confederate Gold you're looking to gain.

Seems like I`ve seen some made by EuroArms in the past ...may have only been a Springfield or Enfield though.

I believe you are right.  I remember EuroArms rifles as well but, just don't remember what they made.
