Yielding to Temptation

I thought I was done with my Christmas shopping, except for maybe getting Will a new pair of Chucks.

Then it snowed. Then it got cold. Then my four year old zip up boots got the zipper caught in the hem of my skirt and I nearly fell down. Will doesn't have any suitable winter boots at all.

And so, I find myself once again yeilding to temptation....

<Picks up the phone and calls Terry at Old Fort West>

Terry fixed me up and I should have both pair by Friday.

Dang. Everything Will is getting for Christmas is Cowboy stuff. Maybe I should get him a video game.

I'm not sure I can handle the drum set.

There is a computer game called Top Shot 2, that is really cool. You can select any of about 25 guns ranging from a 44BFR to a M60, the games range from cowboy shoot, fast draw, then there is long range one target, one shot
you have an indoor range (and you can even make yer own targets) then there is skeet and trap (yu can even shoot trap with an m16 if ya wanted to.)

He called tonight and told me exactly what he wanted, then I called him back to make sure I had the right thing. He knew I was looking at the box.

I'm going to tell him that I changed my mind and got him shoes instead. And then I'll give him the shoes, then the boots, then the warm slippers... Some time later on, after he's given up on it, I'll give him the game.

It's called Kingdom Heart. It combines Disney characters with Final Fantasy fighters. That combination alone, the sheer silliness of it, was enough to get me to get it for him. We all need a little silliness at times.

Believe it or not I have contemplated building one that shoots 22 I remember seeing the plans for one somewhere, I do not beleive that I can afford to feed one that eat 45-70's.

Talk about silly games I have a PC game called Alice. It's based on Alice in Wonderland but Alice is back with a whole bunch of deadly toys. One of the "bosses" that you have to fight at the end of one lever is the Dutchess. She blasts you with a constant shaking of black pepper. You also get to battle the Mad Hatter, Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dum and the Queen of Hearts.

It's really a fun game with amazing graphics and a good story line that keeps you amused.
