I'm thinking this guy also writes the campaign speeches for the Democratic Presidential candidates  ::)

St. George

I met a couple of impecunious 'collectors' years ago - one picked up Government-rebuilt .45's, since thir value was far lower than un-screwed-with examples - the other collected 'dug-ups'.

The 'dug-up' guy had a helluva lot of stuff - all purported to've been found along the various trails.

Personally - I kinda doubted it, when I noticed a couple of pocket revolvers made in the '20's - 'found' on the old Military Road, though I suppose they could've bounced out of the flivver.

If properly displayed - with other 'found' detritus - they 'do' make an interesting display - but...

Vaya,

Dug up a box in my garden once with a badly rusted little .32 pocket pistol and an aluminum tin with the remains of "Three Merry Widows".  This guy was ready for anything!  ;D
