It looks like the aged Blue finish, which USFA is calling "Battlefied Finish", that is used on the John Wayne Red River Classic is available for a standard production gun.

Something else different in the works.

From the photos it looks a lot like my well used Rodeos :)

Doc,
That's not the best picture.  The Trooper has the Custer Battlefield/Gunslinger finish.  It also has mismatched serial numbers to replicate those Colts that were sent back to the factory to get their barrels cut and often were returned without their original backstraps and triggerguards.    If  the idea of "mismatched" parts is not appealing, any of the Inspector series can be made with a 5 1/2" barrel with the antique finish.

Banjoman,
How about offering that finish on a 4 3/4 gun with standard grips?  Not one of the inspector series?  Is that possible?

BB,
What you would be looking at is a Gunslinger in the caliber of you choice.   The finish on the GS has changed slightly in that it now looks like a well cared for old gun instead of a not so well cared for old gun.  I own a GS that looks exactly like the Trooper but in 38-40.  The GS comes standard with the black grips.
